If the packaging can't be changed, then I'll resurrect everywhere  
compatible
%clean behavior for Mandriva.

The vast majority of spec files are not doing anything more than
    %clean
     rm -rf %{buildroot}
with the occaisonal silly and imperfect  test for /.
